How To Actually Make Shift Happen: Best Practices for Many Moons 2026

If you use Many Moons to the most of its ability, miracles can happen.
But if you don't use it, you won't benefit from it.

—a message from a beautiful client.

Whenever you use anything with intention, you will get incredible results. Folks have shared all kinds of beautiful outcomes as a result of using Many Moons. Their manifestations came true, major synchronicities occurred, and Many Moons helped to shift their energy in positive ways.

Other folks shared by infusing ritual, magic, and seasonal living into their planner, they were more productive, more conscious of their energy, and were better able to plan.

Below are some ideas to get you started and inspired. As always, listen to your intuition, think about your top intentions for the year ahead, and flow from there.

Best Practices for Many Moons

~ Read through the Overview Sections to the year first, and note what resonates.

If there are a couple of themes that will support where you want to go, or that affirm what you are already doing, see how you can apply them to how you move forward. Many of the themes are meant to be used as support in the how. Often, we know the what and why, but get stalled in the how. If you can apply some of the practices, rituals, prompts, or spells to your process, you may be pleasantly surprised. The themes can also serve as a container to spiritual development: engaging in alchemy, an ongoing theme in the guide, will allow new possibilities to unfurl.

~ Consider using seasonal resolutions and seasonal practices.

Use the monthly intentions to keep you on track. It might not be the best timing to release your brand new business in the dead of winter, maybe, you want to wait until spring. Notice what your body wants to do, and plan your bigger goals around that.

~ Pick a way to use the weekly pages in ways that feel fun, meaningful, and mystical.

Some people track their energy, record synchronicities, dreams, or their Tarot pulls each day. Personally, I like using it to keep track of what I did for my larger, monthly intentions: I find it helps me stay focused. I'll also take note of "good" and "hard" days, to see if it corresponds with any patterns. If there ever was a planner to be used in more creative and intuitive ways, it’s this one!

~ Experiment with your magic.

You don’t have to do every ritual, spell, or Tarot spread at every New or Full Moon. And also: when you do magic, even inconsistently, life tends to flow better and go better. If it feels overwhelming, pick 1 or 2 rituals or practices that feel fun for you to try each season. Make them spiritual play dates! These are meant to be an inspiration, not followed perfectly. Make your practice your own, and watch what happens. Before the year begins, read through the rituals and spells. If there are a few that light you up, be sure to do those.

~ Make Many Moons a spell itself.

It is a tradition at our Solstice Gathering to do a particular spell connected to the guide. Think about your goals, then randomly flip through the pages, and write down an activity that shows you are either in process with it, or actually following through on it. We’ll go more into this at our gathering—and do it together!
