Studio Operations & Customer Care Assistant
$25/hour | Part-Time (4 days/week) | In-Studio | Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA
We're seeking an experienced, proactive, and resourceful Studio Operations & Customer Care Assistant to join our fast-paced and growing studio. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in startups, growing small businesses, and managing multiple projects efficiently. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations, developing systems, and providing exceptional customer care—all while staying goal-oriented and maintaining a high level of organization. ✦ Position Details

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11-5, 24 hours a week

Pay: $25/hour

Trial Period: 3~ months (prospective start between September 30th - October 7th to December 19th )

✦ Responsibilities
Operations
-
Pack and ship customer orders
-
Studio upkeep: cleaning, tidying, organizing, watering plants, running errands
-
Inventory management and product listings
-
Research and implementation of product marketing strategies
-
Vendor and product research
-
Wholesale development and project management for products
Customer Care & Admin
-
Respond to customer emails with timeliness, clarity and warmth
-
Maintain and update Shopify site and product photos
-
Assist with administrative tasks such as emails, booking Zoom calls, scheduling, light copyediting, quality control, and other misc admin tasks

Track updates and tasks in Notion

Take detailed notes from meetings and stay organized

✦ Requirements

1+ year of Shopify experience (Shopify experience is a must)

Proficient with Notion, Google Drive/G-Suite, and Zoom
-
Comfortable lifting 25+ lbs
-
Reliable transportation

Valid California Driver’s License

Preferred: retail experience, familiarity with startups or small businesses
