Life changing. I've been living with a great deal of time freedom on a sabbatical spent sailing from San Francisco to the Chesapeake over the last two years. I afforded it by living on my boat with my sweetie for 6 years in SF, and saving between marina fees and local rents. The hardest part was getting myself to quit my job in renewable energy, to take a pause from being directly of service and invest in myself for the long haul. It was ugly, but I got free. To say it was worth it is just a drop in the bucket. I could afford to go on longer based on my newsletter and some other paid writing (shout out Better Boundaries and Clear Channels).
