This class is an overview around some of the strengths and challenges of being a highly sensitive in relationship.
Highly sensitives in relationship need to consider different things.
Our energy requires different treatment, and what we need is often different than what society tells us.
We may need more time alone, specific communication, or have certain non-negotiables that others might have trouble understanding.
We are often seen as the "healer" or "confidante," but not given the respect or reciprocity we put out.
In this workshop, Sarah will discuss how to discover and create new templates for being in relationship with others. We'll talk about energetic hygiene, subtle and overt boundaries, ways to communicate your needs, and figuring out what your needs are.
We'll discuss how to know if we are enmeshed or not, how to clear our energy, how to stay grounded and how to stay healthy and nurtured in relationship.
You'll leave feeling more confident around what your needs are, ideas on how to communicate your needs, and concrete paths forward to enhance your relationships.
Sarah will discuss:
- Getting in touch with what we need in relationship
- How to avoid becoming too entrained or enmeshed
- Issues of codependency with highly sensitives
- The struggles of being a "Mirror Person" and what to do about it
- The relational strengths of being a highly sensitive
Sarah will discuss what she's learned in over 13 years of a long-term, intimate relationship with someone who does not identify as sensitive. She will also talk about energy signatures, and all that she has learned doing intuitive readings, and working with groups.
Those who identify as sensitive, highly sensitive, or suspect they might be. Those who identify as divergent. Folks who love sensitives who want to be more intentional and mindful in relationship with the sensitive in their life.
