Don't Just Know Your Card of the Year, Live It

You've calculated your card of the year. You read what it means, nodded, and then... maybe forgot about it? Now it's October, and you're wondering what you're actually supposed to do with an archetype when life is messy and you just want someone to tell you the next step.

That's incredibly common. Most of us treat tarot and spirituality like a set-it-and-forget-it situation: we find the answer, file it away, and wait for the universe to do the rest. But there's a different way to work with your card, and this episode shows you how.

In the third and final episode of this series, Sarah shifts from the collective cards of 2026 to your personal card of the year. Using her own card, strength, as the example, she shows how to go beyond simply knowing your card and start working with it. Along the way, Sarah offers a few gentle reminders: don't perform the card, don't obsessively hunt for signs, and let life teach you what the cards mean.

Want to go deeper before 2026 wraps? If you're interested in recalibrating your energy, refining your vision, and reconnecting with your inner magic before we head into 2027, revisit the Our Year Ahead: Energies & Archetypes Class HERE.

In this episode you'll hear:

  • How to find your personal card of the year and look back at where its themes have already shown up in your life
  • Why alter egos (hello, Sasha Fierce) can help you shift and grow
  • Why you don't need to believe in tarot for archetypes to be useful, and how plants, animals, colors, and even a robin at your morning tea can carry archetypal medicine
  • Why knowing your card isn't the same as working with it
  • How to turn symbolism into behavior
  • The minor arcana secret for when you're asking "what do I do?" and how the eights (wands, pentacles, swords, and cups) offer direction when the majors feel overwhelming
  • Why the majors are what happens to us and the minors are what happens through us
  • Reminders for the road: don't perform the card, don't obsessively look for signs, and let life teach you what the cards mean

You don't need to understand your whole year yet. You just need to agree to be in relationship with your card, and let it help you participate, not predict.
